hung.up was born from a simple but profound question: Why is it so hard to let go of certain clothes?
We realised that the garments we hold onto are never just fabric. They are physical extensions of our identity, capturing specific eras, emotions, and memories. We wanted to understand that psychological bond, and more importantly, we wanted to honour it.
Our mission is to change the way we interact with circular fashion moving away from disposable trends and creating a modern, interactive space where you have the power to preserve what matters most.

Founded by Ximena Meza and Pili Alvarado, hung.up sits at the rare intersection of mind and maker.
With Ximena’s background in fashion psychology and Pili’s decade-long career as a Creative Director and Brand Strategist, the duo built hung.up to be more than just an upcycling service. It is a space designed to help you understand your own personal style, translating your inner evolution into wearable art.

We live in a technology-driven world, and rather than resisting it, we choose to embrace it beautifully. Enter Secondform: our proprietary technology and the AI engine behind the hung.up app.
We didn't build Secondform to replace human craft; we built it to be an incredible, collaborative tool. When used thoughtfully, this tech expands your imagination, allowing you to design, reimagine, and give your garments a second form using skills you never even knew you had. We use Second Form to unlock the vision, and our human seamstresses use their expertise to bring it to life.
